ConnecteDevice Ltd is pleased to announce today the showcase of COOKOO™ the connected watch to the trade at DISTREE EMEA 2013 from February 19-22.
Following the success of the worldwide launch of COOKOO at
CES 2013 in Las Vegas, the ConnecteDevice team has been at
work to develop app updates, as an on-going effort to enhance user experience
with COOKOO.
COOKOO
App™ update Version 1.1 is now downloadable free from the App Store
and highlights of the current update include music control, alarm clock and
timer, with next update already in development.
“The connected watch itself was just the beginning. Our work didn’t stop at
the launch of COOKOO watch or even when the first or second
updates of COOKOO App came out. The soul of COOKOO is

COOKOO's Kickstarter Pledge Fulfilled

ConnecteDeviceis pleased to announce today that
order fulfillment for Kickstarter backers pledging for the COOKOO™ connected
watch has been completed.
While the final batch of backers was receiving their rewards, COOKOO, which
started off as a Kickstarter project, was officially launched to the trade
at CES 2013.
“We are grateful to the Kickstarter backers. Their funding and feedback are
indispensable, without which this project would not have existed as it is now.
We are glad that all COOKOO backers have now been taken care of,” said Nicolas
OLIVIER, CEO of ConnecteDevice.
Of all Kickstarter funded projects, only 8.5%1received funding more than double
their goal in mid-2012 and COOKOO was one of them. Even with a success rate
of only 33% in the technology category2, COOKOO has been able to fulfill the
orders within six months since the project started.
“We hope the fulfillment of the COOKOO project will be seen as a positive contribution
to crowd funding. This pre-financing platform is great for innovation, entrepreneurialism,
the economy and the consumers in particular. We are happy to play our part
in seeing these crowd financing projects become unstoppable,” added OLIVIER.
New version ofCOOKOO App™ will soon be released to bring more
exciting features to the COOKOO connected watch.

It is with the greatest pleasure and excitement that we announce the availability
of the COOKOO App on the Apple App Store, ready for download with immediate
effect. The COOKOO App works with the latest Bluetooth Smart Ready
iOS devices, including iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, and iPad (4th generation) and
iPad (3rd generation) that run on iOS 5 or 6.

COOKOO™ the connected watch is shipping
We have begun shipping product since November with the intention to fulfill
all Kickstarter backer orders and pre-orders made via cookoowatch.com webstore
by Christmas. This is our committed schedule. All our current and new customers
who have placed an order for the COOKOO watch since will be attended to and
expedited immediately after. Those shipments are targeted for completion
by mid-January at the latest, if not earlier, giving sufficient allowances
for public holidays from Christmas to the New Year and potential delays due
to postal service overloads.
COOKOO™ Smart Key Fob update
Many of you have also placed orders and backed us for delivery of the COOKOO
Key Fob. In this regard, we aim to ship those within the month of December
too.
COOKOO™ Android app
As for the Android app, since our update to all Android customers on November
21, the situation has been consistent and we are working on a resolution
to Android that enables the Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy functionality,
so do stay tuned.
API availability
For those willing to develop their own COOKOO app, the ConnecteDevice API will
be released before end December. We will make an announcement in that regard
when ready.
